(b. Aug. 24, 1961)
I had the pleasure of meeting “Gigi”, as she’s always been known, for the first time, around Feb 15, 2013. We’ve enjoyed getting to spend time together here & there, and I’ll add more information about her a little later…
She’s the 3rd of 4 kids to parents Paul Joseph Juers Sr & Carol Jean Novotny. In May of 1989, Gigi married John Arthur Papa, who as it turns out, became my orthopedic ankle specialist. Together they have two kids, Olivia Jean Papa, accomplished runner & brilliant graduate of MIT & an analyst for Morgan Stanley NY; & John Nicholas Papa (“Nick”), also an avid runner & a mechanical engineer, graduating from Worcester Polytechnic Institute.
It’s nice, that in the Juers family, where we are mostly a working class, not necessarily graduated folks, there are those that are at the top of their scholastic game & making an impact in the world. I’m proud to know them & prouder still to be related.
For now, Gigi was nice enough to give me some pictures to scan, so here they are… and hopefully she’ll upload some more when she gets them…
