Amanda was born in New York, but has lived 98% of her life in California. Her mother, Joan Zawolik, gave birth to Amanda her right before the “Great Exodus of ’78”, when everyone in the Juers family decided it was time to leave Long Island, seemingly all at the same time. So as a toddler, she was a hysterical, getting into all kinds of fun trouble. She then traveled 2800 miles in the home-made, Partridge-family style bus Dad had converted (by himself), and wound up in Sacramento, not far from Orangevale, where she lives today! First on Cash Court, then to Tonkin Dr.
Amanda has a daughter & son, Destiny Klassyc & Dominik Jordan. And now has 3 grandbabies… Destiny has 2 daughters, Marcia & Naiella & Dominik has a new baby too as of August 2025.
Had the joy of seeing them all when I visited CA in August of 2025, even if it was a quick trip & I was limping with a cane at the time. Looking forward to going back out there after I recover from my knee surgery in October ’25.
