Alyson (“Aly”) is my younger half-sister Alyson Brooke Juers. Aly’s the only native Californian among my siblings… Her mother Joan was pregnant during my family’s “Great Exodus of ’78”, when everyone left Long Island at the same time. So she spent 2800 miles in the womb, and popped out in Sacramento after dad’s bus/converted motor home finally died!
Alyson had her beautiful daughter Keyana in 1993, and now dotes over her amazing granddaughter, miss Scarlett Joan Adams…
She has taken on the noble profession of Social Work, and holds a Master’s Degree for California State University, Chico. We’re all so proud of Aly, she’s the only one of us four siblings to graduate college. Hopefully one day the rest of us can join her, that’d make dad even prouder.
