Harry Paul Juers (12/20/1907 - 05/03/1948)
From my perspective (as Roy Juers II), Harry Paul Juers was the grandfather I'd never met.
He passed away when my father, Ken, was just 10 years old. The cause of death was apparently a heart condition called IHSS (Idiopathic hypertrophic subaortic-stenosis). He was only 40, survived by my grandmother Helen, who then had to raise 6 boys on her own. And she did the most amazing job a mother could do. Sadly, she never remarried. "Nana", as I called her, was born December 12, 1908. She passed away on February 24, 1986 at age 77.
